One of my best friends married just a month ago in the Chilean capital, Santiago. It was fortunate and honorable to be able to be present on such a marked day of his life thanks to the journey that I have been making for the South American continent, but the kid -Richard- paid us all the effort and prepared a great week of activities for the Santiago surroundings to all foreign We went to the wedding.

Richard had booked two bungalows on the beachfront for about 7 pesos - about 80 euros - between the two. The price was not bad considering that they were on the beach, in fact, they were already in the sand - they had barbecue and about 12 people fit between them.

The town is quite small and we explore it while looking for a restaurant where to eat and we stock up on drinks, coal, beach shovels and other basic things to spend a good 24 hours in that backwater of tranquility overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

It was a perfect day.

In these latitudes the Pacific water is quite cold but we took a good bath after sweating like pigs playing volleyball Then we started the barbecue fire while we realized the first of the many beers and glasses that would fall that night. The beach and the town were almost deserted - just at the end of the summer season - and we enjoyed the place as the only kings of a beautiful kingdom.
